Nevada pays 1.5× after 40 hours in a workweek. If you earn less than $18.00 an hour (1.5× the $12.00 minimum wage), you also get 1.5× after 8 hours in a 24-hour period, unless you agreed in writing to four 10-hour days.
Key points
- Daily overtime (1.5×) after 8 hours
- Daily overtime only if you earn less than $18.00 an hour
- Weekly overtime (1.5×) after 40 hours, not counting hours already paid as daily overtime
