How Indeed pricing works
Indeed says US employers can post up to three free jobs directly on Indeed each calendar month, and each free job stays live for up to 30 days. Indeed notes that the limits vary by country and may change, and that some jobs can only be posted as sponsored jobs.
Sponsored jobs are results-based. Depending on your account and market, Indeed charges when someone clicks to view the job (pay per click) or when someone starts an application (pay per started application). Indeed recommends a budget based on the job title, location and description. There is no published per-click rate; the minimum price is set for each job.
Indeed bills sponsored jobs on the first day of the month or when your spending reaches $500, whichever comes first. New US accounts can get a $75 credit toward their first sponsored job.
What that means for an electrician job: your cost is your budget. Electrician roles compete with every other skilled-trade job in your area, so plan for the budget Indeed recommends and watch cost per application in its analytics.
How ZipRecruiter pricing works
ZipRecruiter offers three plans: Standard, Premium and Pro. Standard and Premium can be started as a free trial; Pro is set up through ZipRecruiter's sales team. Its plans page lists features, including sending jobs to more than 100 job boards and reusable job slots, but no prices.
To get a number, start the trial or contact ZipRecruiter's sales team, then compare the quote with the other options here. Check the cancellation terms before a trial ends.
How Best Electrician Jobs pricing works
You buy active job capacity, not clicks. Drafts are free; a live job uses a slot, and closing it frees the slot for the next opening. Applications go to your employer dashboard or your ATS inbox.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, paid upfront | Active jobs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local | $249 | $2,490 | 3 |
| Regional | $399 | $3,990 | 5 |
| Multi-Market | $699 | $6,990 | 10 |
There is no free plan or trial. Larger teams can ask about enterprise capacity.
Which one fits your opening?
Use Indeed when
You want the widest reach, you're hiring for many kinds of roles, and you can manage a click or application budget.
Use ZipRecruiter when
You want one posting sent to many boards and prefer a plan you can try first.
Use Best Electrician Jobs when
You're hiring electricians or low voltage techs and want a fixed monthly cost in front of people looking for trade work.
Whichever board you use, the job post does most of the work. Put the pay range, schedule, license requirement and project type in the first lines. Start with a trade hiring guide, and if you're weighing an agency instead, read electrical staffing agency vs. job board.
Questions employers ask
How much does it cost to post a job on Indeed?
Indeed lets employers post up to three free jobs per calendar month in the US, each live for up to 30 days, though some jobs can only be posted as sponsored jobs. Sponsored jobs have no fixed price: you set a budget, Indeed recommends an amount based on the job and market, and you're charged for clicks or started applications. Indeed bills on the first of the month or when spending reaches $500. (Indeed, checked October 26, 2026.)
How much does ZipRecruiter cost?

How much does Best Electrician Jobs cost?
Plans start at $249 per month for 3 active jobs. You pay a flat price for a set number of active jobs instead of paying per click or per application. Closing a job frees its slot for the next opening.
Should I post electrician jobs on more than one site?
Many contractors do. A general board reaches the most people, while a trade board puts the job in front of electricians who are looking for electrical work. Track where your hires come from and drop the source that isn't producing them.
