Core Commercial Electrical Foreman Responsibilities

Lead and manage commercial electrical crews on large-scale construction projects. You will coordinate daily operations, including manpower allocation, material staging, and tool management. Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and accurate execution. Oversee conduit installation, wire pulls, panel terminations, lighting installation, and all phases of commercial electrical work. Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety guidelines. Communicate with General Contractors, inspectors, and project managers to resolve issues and maintain schedule. Track progress and update redlines and as-builts as required.

Advanced Technical Duties

• Implement advanced troubleshooting techniques for complex electrical systems.
• Conduct detailed inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative solutions for challenging installations.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in commercial electrical work, including project leadership and crew management, is essential. A strong understanding of NEC code, blueprint reading, and construction sequencing is required. Ability to coordinate with multiple trades and ensure project deadlines are met. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Previous experience leading teams of 5 or more electricians on commercial jobs is required.

Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Commercial Electrical Foreman.
• Essential certifications: OSHA 30, Journeyman Electrician License, CPR/First Aid.
• Required technical knowledge: Advanced understanding of NEC codes, proficiency in electrical schematics, and familiarity with construction software.
