What Your Week Actually Looks Like

During a usual week, you’ll be pulling, routing, and securing all kinds of low-voltage cables—think CAT5e, CAT6, and even fiber optics—typically for commercial construction projects. One day you might be labeling and organizing cables to make sure everything connects the way it should, and the next, you’re setting up ladders and tools to prep a work area. We follow detailed installation diagrams to set up cable pathways, using conduits, trays, and raceways. Safety is huge for us, so maintaining a clean job site and adhering to all safety regulations is a top priority. We work on a range of projects, from retail spaces to large office buildings, which keeps things fresh. Our team is solid, with each member bringing their own skills to the table, making it a great environment to learn and grow.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Don’t worry if you’re just starting out. We’re more focused on practical skills than paper qualifications. A basic understanding of low-voltage cabling systems is helpful, but what really matters is a strong work ethic and the ability to follow detailed instructions. You’ll need to be physically fit since some tasks involve lifting equipment and working in confined spaces. A good sense of humor and a bit of patience will also go a long way in this role!
