Position overview

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial projects in the Houston area. The role requires independent journeyman-level work and clear communication with project supervision.

Responsibilities

Install rigid conduit, cable tray, feeders, transformers, disconnects, and equipment connections.

Read one-line diagrams and electrical drawings to complete motor and power distribution work.

Troubleshoot circuits, document findings, and complete corrections without hiding field problems.

Working conditions and schedule

This is onsite work in industrial facilities and active project areas. Work may be indoors or outdoors and may include planned shutdown or equipment cutover schedules.

Required qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least four years of electrical construction or maintenance experience is required.

Ability to work onsite in the Houston area.

Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License

Relevant electrical experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.

Preferred qualifications

Industrial experience with VFDs, motor controls, instrumentation, or three-phase distribution is preferred.

Compensation

The expected pay range is $32 to $40 per hour. Final pay depends on experience and the contractor's review.
