Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• 5-7 Years Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the residential field as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Valid Licenses: Must hold a valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician License.
• Code Knowledge: Strong understanding of NEC and Michigan electrical codes.

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• Installation & Maintenance: Perform electrical work on multi-family remodels and senior housing retrofits, including updating service panels and terminating circuits.
• Supervision & Training: Supervise apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality workmanship.
• Project Coordination: Communicate effectively with project managers to maintain project schedules and retrofit outdated systems to meet current codes.
