Prime Partners is staffing fiber and copper cable installer openings for data center construction work in the New Albany, OH area. This contract role is focused on structured cabling quality, clean cable management, and reliable low voltage production for candidates looking for steady project work.

Pay rate: $20-$33 per hour

Location: New Albany, OH area

Fiber and Copper Cabling Responsibilities

Installers will pull Cat6 cable, route and dress copper bundles, support fiber optic installation, install J-hooks and cable tray, assist with conduit pathways, label cable, terminate copper, and help with testing and certification. The project may also include security rough-in and A/V cable support.

Candidates with fiber termination, fusion splicing exposure, Fluke testing, or data center cabling experience may be used on more technical portions of the work. Clean labeling, neat dressing, and consistent pathway work matter on this assignment.

New Albany Data Center Construction Work

This is weekday day-shift contract work with weekly pay and rolling start dates. Overtime may be available as project milestones change. Prime Partners is the staffing agency supporting this opening and works with candidates on steady commercial low voltage assignments when project needs continue.

This is a strong opportunity for a cable installer who wants to expand from general low voltage work into structured data center cabling, fiber support, testing, and large-scale construction coordination.

Requirements for Cable Installer Candidates

OSHA 10 is required. Candidates should have at least 1 year of low voltage, data cable, telecom, security, or structured cabling experience. Applicants should be dependable, able to work from ladders, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and ready to provide a supervisor reference.
