Maintenance Electrician Position Overview

We urgently require a Maintenance Electrician at EV Careers in Anderson, SC. Must Haves for Maintenance Electrician

• 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Electrician
• Current electrical license or a strong background in facilities maintenance
• Solid experience in troubleshooting and repair with a keen familiarity with building codes and maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently, on-call, or during off-hours
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Deep knowledge of electrical testing equipment

Key Maintenance Electrician Duties

As our Maintenance Electrician, you will perform routine electrical maintenance on our building systems. You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot lighting, power outlets, and control panels. You will also respond promptly to urgent repair requests and perform necessary electrical upgrades and preventative maintenance. Part of your duties will also include maintaining logs of repairs and inspections, replacing ballasts, fuses, wiring, and fixtures, and coordinating with our facilities teams and vendors. Adherence to all safety standards is paramount in this role.
