We are currently seeking a High Voltage Charging Station Electrician at our EV Careers location in Johnson City, TN.
Experience Required
We require 4-6 years of experience as a High Voltage Charging Station Electrician.
Location
The position is based in Johnson City, TN.
Key Skills
The ideal candidate should hold a high-voltage electrician license and have experience with installing DC fast chargers and Level 3 EVSE. They should also possess a thorough understanding of power distribution systems and networking for chargers, be capable of reading site plans and permits, and have a strong understanding of safety procedures and documentation.
Primary Duties
The main duties of the role include installing, inspecting, and servicing high-voltage charging stations for electric vehicles, connecting to site power distribution, troubleshooting load balancing and communication issues, configuring backend system integrations, testing system output, ensuring compliance with NEC, NEMA, and safety standards, and documenting test results and inspections.
