DC Infrastructure Electrician Position Overview

EV Careers is urgently seeking a skilled DC Infrastructure Electrician in Houma, LA. As a DC Infrastructure Electrician, you’ll play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our direct current infrastructure. This includes working with low- and medium-voltage DC systems, ensuring code and safety compliance, and supporting telecom, solar, and battery backup systems.

Must Haves for DC Infrastructure Electrician

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a DC Infrastructure Electrician
• Licensed electrician with extensive DC wiring experience
• Strong understanding of DC system behavior and safety
• Ability to install and terminate cabling for distributed systems
• Experience with telecom, solar, or battery systems is preferred

Key DC Infrastructure Electrician Duties

Your main tasks will include installing and maintaining direct current infrastructure, which includes wiring, conduits, and panels. You’ll also work with low- and medium-voltage DC systems and ensure that all work is code and safety compliant. Additionally, you’ll be expected to support telecom, solar, and battery backup systems, troubleshoot control circuits, and coordinate with engineers on layout and system design.
