Commercial Apprentice Position Overview
EV Careers in Pine Bluff, AR is urgently seeking a Commercial Apprentice to join our team. The right candidate will have a foundational understanding of commercial wiring systems, experience in an apprenticeship program and a strong aptitude for math and measurement. As a Commercial Apprentice, you will assist in the installation of commercial-grade EV electrical systems, interpret basic blueprints, and maintain meticulous records of material use and time logs.
Must Haves for Commercial Apprentice
- 2-5 years experience as a Commercial Apprentice
- Completion of at least 1 year in an apprenticeship program
- Understanding of commercial wiring systems
- Ability to read simple one-line diagrams
- OSHA 10-hour certification (preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong math and measuring skills
Key Commercial Apprentice Duties
As a Commercial Apprentice, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in commercial-grade EV electrical installations. This includes interpreting basic blueprints and layout plans, pulling wire through raceways, installing low-voltage control wiring for smart EV systems, and supporting panel upgrades and load center installations. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records of material use and time logs, and learning commercial code requirements.
