Position overview

Install electrical infrastructure for an Austin data center project where documentation, grounding, and installation quality receive close review. This role is for a licensed electrician comfortable with controlled-access construction.

Responsibilities

Install conduit, cable tray, feeders, branch circuits, grounding, and equipment connections.

Use one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and project drawings to verify each installation.

Support inspections, record field changes, and complete quality-control corrections.

Working conditions and schedule

Data center work is onsite and may involve controlled access, scheduled cutovers, and shifts outside standard hours. Overtime is not guaranteed.

Required qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least four years of commercial or industrial electrical experience is required.

Ability to work onsite in the Austin area.

Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License

Relevant electrical experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.

Preferred qualifications

Previous data center, UPS, generator, commissioning, or mission-critical construction experience is preferred.

Compensation

The expected pay range is $34 to $44 per hour. Final pay depends on experience and the contractor's review.
