Position overview
Install electrical systems for battery energy storage projects in the Phoenix area. The work covers power conversion equipment, DC and AC conductors, grounding, controls, and commissioning support.
Responsibilities
Install raceways, conductors, disconnects, grounding, inverters, and battery-system connections.
Use project drawings and manufacturer requirements to verify cable routing and equipment terminations.
Support testing, record installation checks, and correct issues identified during commissioning.
Working conditions and schedule
This is onsite construction work with substantial outdoor exposure. Start times may be adjusted for weather, site access, and commissioning schedules.
Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least four years of commercial, industrial, or renewable-energy electrical experience is required.
Ability to work onsite in the Phoenix area.
Relevant electrical experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with BESS equipment, solar PV, medium-voltage coordination, commissioning, or utility-scale projects is preferred.
Compensation
The expected pay range is $32 to $42 per hour. Final pay depends on experience and the contractor's review.
