Must Haves for Residential Electrician

To be considered for this position, you must have 2-4 years of experience as a Residential Electrician. We also require a valid electrical license or proof of completed apprenticeship. You must exhibit a strong understanding of NEC code for residential work, and be able to read blueprints and layouts. You should be skilled in installing outlets, lighting, and switches, and have experience servicing breaker panels. Excellent customer service and communication skills are crucial, and a clean driving record is mandatory.

Key Residential Electrician Duties

As a Residential Electrician, your primary duties will include installing and repairing electrical systems in homes and apartment buildings. You will wire new constructions and remodels, and install outlets, lighting, and switches. You will also service breaker panels and subpanels, troubleshoot household electrical issues, and inspect the systems for code compliance. Regular communication with homeowners, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining tools and supplies will be part of your daily tasks.
