The Master Electrician Position

Joining our team as a Master Electrician means taking on a role that is both challenging and rewarding. You’ll be responsible for designing and overseeing electrical systems for construction and renovation projects. You’ll work in diverse project environments, from residential homes to commercial buildings and industrial sites. Core Master Electrician Responsibilities

As a Master Electrician, you will design and oversee electrical systems for construction and renovation projects. You’ll supervise electrical teams and manage job site activity, pull permits, and ensure local code compliance. You’ll also coordinate inspections, manage project timelines and budgets, provide expert troubleshooting support, and develop safety and quality protocols. Your advanced technical duties will include reviewing electrical plans, leading client consultations and technical reviews, and training and evaluating apprentices and journeymen.

Required Experience & Skills

To be considered for this position, you must be a licensed master electrician with extensive knowledge of NEC and local codes. You should have proven leadership and project management skills, experience in electrical design and system layout, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and city officials. A commitment to safety and quality standards is a must. You should have at least 6 years of experience as a Master Electrician.

Tools & Equipment

You’ll be using a variety of specific tools on a daily basis, including electrical and diagnostic tools, as well as blueprints. We’ll provide you with the majority of the necessary equipment, but there may be some personal tools required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this job can be high. You should be able to lift up to 50lbs, and be comfortable working in a variety of conditions, from outdoor construction sites to indoor renovations. Safety gear, including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves, are required.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.69-$37.44 per hour, depending on experience. Our compensation package also includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off and holidays, career advancement opportunities, ongoing training and certifications, and an overtime policy. We also provide a tool allowance, among other perks.
