Must Haves for Maintenance Electrician

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician. A solid troubleshooting and repair background is crucial, as well as an understanding of building codes and maintenance practices. We require someone who is willing to work on-call or during off-hours. Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities are necessary for this role. Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and the ability to work independently is a must.

Key Maintenance Electrician Duties

As a Maintenance Electrician, your primary duties will include performing routine electrical maintenance on building systems. You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot lighting, power outlets, and control panels. Responding to urgent repair requests is a regular part of this job. You will also conduct electrical upgrades and preventative maintenance. Other responsibilities include maintaining logs of repairs and inspections, replacing ballasts, fuses, wiring, and fixtures, and coordinating with our facilities teams and vendors. Adherence to all safety standards is paramount in this role.
