Core EV Power Systems Electrician Skills

A successful candidate will be a licensed journeyman electrician with a deep understanding of EVSE infrastructure and grid interconnection. Experience with transformers and switchgear is necessary, as are strong wiring and installation skills. The ability to read one-line diagrams and permits is crucial, along with OSHA safety training.

Main EV Power Systems Electrician Duties

Your main tasks will include installing and configuring power distribution systems for EV charging stations. You will run conduit and wire to support load balancing and grid tie-ins, monitor electrical loads, and ensure code compliance. Additionally, you will install switchgear, transformers, and meters, coordinate with utility providers, and support remote diagnostics and system upgrades.
