Maintenance Electrician Position Overview

We are in need of a Maintenance Electrician who will keep our electrical systems running smoothly at EV Careers in Goose Creek, SC. This position requires you to perform routine electrical maintenance on building systems, inspect and troubleshoot lighting and power outlets, respond to urgent repair requests, and maintain logs of repairs and inspections.

Must Haves for Maintenance Electrician

• 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Electrician
• Electrical license or a strong background in facilities maintenance
• Solid troubleshooting and repair experience
• Familiarity with building codes and maintenance practices
• Ability to work on-call or during off-hours
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment
• Ability to work independently

Key Maintenance Electrician Duties

In this role, you will be expected to perform routine electrical maintenance on building systems, inspect, test, and troubleshoot lighting and power outlets, and control panels. You will also be responsible for responding to urgent repair requests, performing electrical upgrades and preventative maintenance. Additionally, you will be required to maintain logs of repairs and inspections, replace ballasts, fuses, wiring, and fixtures, and coordinate with facilities teams and vendors, while adhering to all safety standards.
