Must Haves for Maintenance Electrician

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Maintenance Electrician role
• A valid electrical license or a background in facilities maintenance
• Solid troubleshooting and repair experience
• Familiarity with building codes and maintenance practices
• The ability to work on-call or during off-hours
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment
• An ability to work independently

Key Maintenance Electrician Duties

As our Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be responsible for performing routine electrical maintenance on our building systems. This includes inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting lighting, power outlets, and control panels. You’ll respond to urgent repair requests, perform electrical upgrades, and preventative maintenance. You’ll also be required to maintain logs of repairs and inspections, replace ballasts, fuses, wiring, and fixtures, and coordinate with facilities teams and vendors. In all tasks, you’ll be expected to follow all safety standards.
