Industrial Electrician Position Overview

EV Careers is urgently seeking a competent Industrial Electrician to join our team in Central, LA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical systems in our industrial facilities. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our machinery and systems.

Must Haves for Industrial Electrician

An ideal candidate must have between 4-6 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician. Other qualifications include an electrical journeyman license or equivalent, experience with industrial machinery and systems, and a strong understanding of motor controls, PLCs, and 3-phase power. Proficiency in diagnostics and repair, the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams, OSHA safety knowledge, and excellent team-oriented attitude and communication skills are also required.

Key Industrial Electrician Duties

As an Industrial Electrician, your primary duties will include installing and maintaining electrical systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. You will service motors, conveyors, control panels, and high-voltage equipment. Additionally, you will troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery, follow lockout/tagout procedures, perform preventative maintenance, interpret technical diagrams and schematics, ensure safety compliance, document repairs and updates, and work closely with our maintenance and engineering teams.
