High Voltage EV Electrician Position Overview
We urgently need a seasoned High Voltage EV Electrician to join our EV Careers team in Thibodaux, LA. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and service high-voltage systems for electric vehicles and associated infrastructure. Your expertise will be key in ensuring safety and compliance in all our high-voltage operations.
Must Haves for High Voltage EV Electrician
- A minimum of 4-6 years experience as a High Voltage EV Electrician
- Valid electrician license coupled with high-voltage certification
- Profound knowledge of EV systems and high-voltage safety standards
- Experience with EVSE equipment and protocols
- Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and PPE for HV environments
- Familiarity with energy storage systems and power electronics
- Strong technical and communication skills
Key High Voltage EV Electrician Duties
As our High Voltage EV Electrician, your core tasks will include:
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining high-voltage systems for electric vehicles and related infrastructure
- Ensuring safety protocols for high-voltage operations are stringently followed
- Interpreting technical schematics and equipment diagrams
- Troubleshooting and repairing EV electrical systems
- Testing insulation resistance and power delivery
- Coordinating with engineering teams for layout and specifications
- Documenting system performance and service logs
- Ensuring NEC and OSHA compliance
