Principal High Voltage DC Electrician Responsibilities
The role includes installation and maintenance of high-voltage direct current systems; work on power distribution and conversion systems including rectifiers and inverters; ensuring DC arc flash safety standards are met; troubleshooting electrical faults in HVDC environments; reading and interpreting complex schematics; assisting in commissioning new systems; monitoring performance data and conducting preventative maintenance.
