Primary High Voltage DC Electrician Responsibilities
Successful applicants will install and maintain high-voltage direct current systems. Duties include working on power distribution and conversion systems including rectifiers and inverters. They are expected to ensure DC arc flash safety standards are met. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical faults in HVDC environments, reading and interpreting complex schematics, assisting in commissioning new systems, monitoring performance data and conducting preventative maintenance.
