High Voltage Charging Station Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers in Shreveport, LA is urgently seeking a High Voltage Charging Station Electrician to join our team. This role is critical to our operation, ensuring the installation, inspection, and service of high-voltage charging stations for electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will be an expert in connecting to site power distribution, troubleshooting load balancing and communication issues, and configuring backend system integrations.
Must Haves for High Voltage Charging Station Electrician
- 4-6 years of experience as a High Voltage Charging Station Electrician
- High-voltage electrician license
- Experience installing DC fast chargers and Level 3 EVSE
- Knowledge of power distribution systems and networking for chargers
- Capable of reading site plans and permits
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and documentation
Key High Voltage Charging Station Electrician Duties
As a High Voltage Charging Station Electrician, your main tasks will include:
- Installing, inspecting, and servicing high-voltage charging stations for electric vehicles
- Connecting to site power distribution
- Troubleshooting load balancing and communication issues
- Configuring backend system integrations
- Testing system output
- Ensuring compliance with NEC, NEMA, and safety standards
- Documenting test results and inspections
