Daily Responsibilities

In this role, you will install, inspect, and service high-voltage charging stations for electric vehicles. These stations are crucial for the operation of electric vehicles, and your expertise will ensure their optimal performance. You will connect these stations to site power distribution and troubleshoot any load balancing and communication issues that may arise.

Configuring backend system integrations is another key part of the job, requiring a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. You will also be responsible for testing system output to verify functionality and safety.

In addition, you will ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, and safety standards, maintaining the highest levels of workmanship and professionalism. Documenting test results and inspections is also part of the daily routine, ensuring transparency and accountability in all operations.

Other common daily activities include maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, and collaborating with other team members on larger projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a high-voltage electrician license and experience installing DC fast chargers and Level 3 EVSE. A strong knowledge of power distribution systems and networking for chargers is also essential.

Being capable of reading site plans and permits is a must, as you will often be working in various locations throughout Brentwood. A strong understanding of safety procedures and documentation is also necessary to ensure the well-being of all team members and clients.

Ideally, you should have 4-6 years of experience in the field. This role requires hands-on abilities, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
