The High Voltage Battery Electrician Position
As a High Voltage Battery Electrician, you will be part of an efficient and collaborative team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the installation, diagnosis, and maintenance of high-voltage battery systems, ensuring they comply with safety standards. You will also work closely with inverters and charge controllers, maintaining logs, and assisting with emergency repairs. Core High Voltage Battery Electrician Responsibilities
In addition to installing and maintaining high-voltage battery systems for EVs and energy storage applications, you will diagnose performance issues, conduct thermal/voltage testing, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will also integrate batteries with inverters and charge controllers, maintain logs, and assist with field retrofits and emergency repairs. As an experienced electrician, you will handle advanced duties such as designing and implementing thermal management systems, analyzing data for performance optimization, and leading safety training sessions. You will also have the opportunity to work on regional projects and follow detailed safety protocols.
Required Experience & Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need an electrical license and a battery safety certification. You should have experience working with lithium-ion and high-capacity storage systems, and a strong understanding of charge-discharge cycles, BMS systems, and thermal management. Safety is a key concern in our industry, so knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures for high-voltage DC is essential. We require a minimum of 4-6 years experience in a similar role.
Tools & Equipment
Daily tools used by our High Voltage Battery Electricians include multimeters, thermal cameras, high-voltage gloves, and torque wrenches. You will also need to have your own set of basic hand tools. The company will provide specialized equipment such as high-voltage testing devices and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical Requirements
The nature of your work will require lifting heavy batteries and equipment, sometimes up to 50 pounds. You will also need to wear safety gear, including high-voltage gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
Training & Development

Compensation Package
