EVSE High Voltage Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers is in urgent need of a seasoned EVSE High Voltage Electrician at our Johns Creek, GA location. The successful candidate will bring a combination of hands-on EVSE installation experience, high-voltage capabilities, and in-depth understanding of OCPP standards, load balancing, and utility interconnection. You will be responsible for installing and commissioning high-voltage EVSE systems at commercial and fleet facilities.
Must-Haves for EVSE High Voltage Electrician
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an EVSE High Voltage Electrician
- Licensed electrician with EVSE installation experience
- High-voltage experience (480V+)
- Understanding of OCPP standards, load balancing, and utility interconnection
- Strong diagnostic and field commissioning skills
Key EVSE High Voltage Electrician Duties
Your core duties will include installing and commissioning high-voltage EVSE systems at commercial and fleet facilities. This will involve performing load calculations, running conduit and wiring for 480V+ systems, and calibrating chargers. You will also be tasked with completing various testing procedures, coordinating with network providers and utility representatives, and maintaining accurate installation documentation and as-built records.
