Core EV Power Systems Electrician Skills
We’re looking for a licensed journeyman electrician with knowledge of EVSE infrastructure and grid interconnection. Experience with transformers and switchgear is essential, as are strong wiring and installation skills. You should be able to read one-line diagrams and permits, and have OSHA safety training.
Main EV Power Systems Electrician Duties
Your main duties will involve installing and configuring power distribution systems for EV charging stations. This includes running conduit and wire to support load balancing and grid tie-ins, monitoring electrical loads, and ensuring code compliance. You’ll install switchgear, transformers, and meters, coordinate with utility providers, and support remote diagnostics and system upgrades.
