Job Title: EV Power Systems Electrician
Join our team at EV Careers in Brookhaven, GA. We are currently seeking an experienced EV Power Systems Electrician with 3-5 years of experience in the field.
Key Skills Required
The ideal candidate is a licensed journeyman electrician with a solid understanding of EVSE infrastructure and grid interconnection. Experience with transformers and switchgear is essential. Proven wiring and installation skills, the ability to read one-line diagrams and permits, and OSHA safety training are also required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As an EV Power Systems Electrician, you will install and configure power distribution systems for EV charging stations. Duties include running conduit and wire to support load balancing and grid tie-ins, monitoring electrical loads, ensuring code compliance, and installing switchgear, transformers, and meters. You will also coordinate with utility providers and support remote diagnostics and system upgrades.
