Electric Vehicle Apprentice Position Overview
EV Careers is seeking a dedicated Electric Vehicle Apprentice to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. As an apprentice, you will work closely with our licensed electricians to install Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations for electric vehicles. You’ll be hands-on with cutting-edge technology in the ever-evolving electric vehicle industry, actively contributing to a more sustainable future.
Must Haves for Electric Vehicle Apprentice
- 2-5 years experience as an Electric Vehicle Apprentice
- A keen interest in EV technology and sustainability
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory
- Actively working toward journeyman licensure
- Strong note-taking and organizational habits
- Proficiency in using tablets and software tools on-site
- Customer-service friendly attitude when working on residential installs
Key Electric Vehicle Apprentice Duties
As an Electric Vehicle Apprentice, your primary tasks will include:
- Assisting licensed EV electricians with the installation of Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations
- Participating in trenching and conduit placement activities
- Calibrating meters and sensors under supervision
- Testing charging station output using diagnostic tools
- Monitoring energy usage data and documenting any abnormalities
- Preparing permit packets and inspection forms
