What You’ll Do as a DC Infrastructure Electrician

As a DC Infrastructure Electrician at EV Careers, you’ll be a key player in our ongoing projects in Ridgeland, MS. This role is not just about fixing wires. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that all our electric infrastructures function seamlessly. Your days will be filled with diverse tasks that include installing, maintaining, and repairing direct current infrastructure. You’ll be working hands-on with wiring, conduits, and panels, and coordinating with engineers to ensure everything is up to code and running smoothly.

Your Daily Tasks as a DC Infrastructure Electrician

Your typical day will involve working with low- and medium-voltage DC systems. You will install and maintain wiring, conduits, and panels, ensuring they comply with safety regulations. You’ll be responsible for supporting telecom, solar, and battery backup systems and troubleshooting control circuits.

Additional daily tasks include:

• Coordinating with engineers to design and layout DC systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing control circuits
• Installing and terminating cabling for distributed systems

What You Need to Be a DC Infrastructure Electrician

To excel in this role, you need to be a licensed electrician with a strong understanding of DC system behavior and safety. You should have hands-on experience in installing and terminating cabling for distributed systems. Experience in telecom, solar, or battery systems is preferred but not mandatory.
