Required Skills for DC Infrastructure Electrician
The ideal candidate will be a licensed electrician with significant DC wiring experience and a strong understanding of DC system behavior and safety. They should possess the ability to install and terminate cabling for distributed systems. Experience with telecom, solar, or battery systems is preferred.
Key Duties of DC Infrastructure Electrician
The DC Infrastructure Electrician will install and maintain direct current infrastructure, including wiring, conduits, and panels. They will work with low- and medium-voltage DC systems, ensure code and safety compliance, and support telecom, solar, and battery backup systems. They will also be required to troubleshoot control circuits and coordinate with engineers on layout and system design.
