Your day-to-day will involve understanding and implementing electrical layouts, installing and maintaining DC infrastructure, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Your Daily Tasks as a DC Infrastructure Electrician

Expect to get your hands dirty as you install and maintain various components of direct current infrastructure, including wiring, conduits, and panels. You’ll be working with low- and medium-voltage DC systems, ensuring that they’re up to code and meet all safety standards.

In addition, you’ll support telecom, solar, and battery backup systems, coordinating closely with engineers on layout and system design. This means you’ll need a good understanding of control circuits, as you’ll be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
