DC Infrastructure Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers is urgently seeking a diligent and experienced DC Infrastructure Electrician for our Bossier City, LA location. This role is integral to our construction projects, responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DC systems and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and safety of our electrical systems, especially those relating to telecom, solar, and battery backup systems.
Must Haves for DC Infrastructure Electrician
- 3-5 years experience as a DC Infrastructure Electrician
- Licensed electrician with DC wiring experience
- Strong understanding of DC system behavior and safety
- Ability to install and terminate cabling for distributed systems
- Experience with telecom, solar, or battery systems preferred
Key DC Infrastructure Electrician Duties
As a DC Infrastructure Electrician, your primary tasks will include the installation and maintenance of direct current infrastructure, including wiring, conduits, and panels. You’ll be expected to work with low- and medium-voltage DC systems, ensuring code and safety compliance at all times. Your role will also involve supporting telecom, solar, and battery backup systems, troubleshooting control circuits, and coordinating with engineers on layout and system design.
