Essential DC Fast Charging Electrician Skills
We are seeking a journeyman or master electrician with extensive DC fast charging experience. Applicants should possess a firm understanding of high-voltage safety and commissioning protocols, as well as familiarity with software platforms used in charger configuration and diagnostics. The ability to manage field projects and service tickets is also crucial.
Principal DC Fast Charging Electrician Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of DC fast charging equipment for EV fleets and public charging infrastructure. Duties also include performing site surveys, handling trenching, wiring, and panel upgrades, commissioning and testing chargers, coordinating with utility and inspection authorities, and documenting and logging charging station performance.
