DC Fast Charging Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers is urgently seeking a DC Fast Charging Electrician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician with a deep understanding of DC fast charging, high-voltage safety, and commissioning protocols. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DC fast charging equipment for EV fleets and public charging infrastructure.
Must Haves for DC Fast Charging Electrician
- 4-6 years experience as a DC Fast Charging Electrician
- Journeyman or master electrician with DC fast charging experience
- Knowledge of high-voltage safety and commissioning protocols
- Familiarity with software platforms used in charger configuration and diagnostics
- Capable of managing field projects and service tickets
Key DC Fast Charging Electrician Duties
As a DC Fast Charging Electrician, you will primarily focus on:
- Installing and maintaining DC fast charging equipment for EV fleets and public charging infrastructure
- Performing site surveys and managing field projects
- Handling trenching, wiring, and panel upgrades
- Commissioning and testing chargers
- Coordinating with utility and inspection authorities
- Documenting and logging charging station performance
