Commercial EV Charging Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers is urgently seeking a skilled Commercial EV Charging Electrician for our Southaven, MS location. A successful candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical work, with a focus on installing and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations in commercial settings. You will interpret site plans and specs, install EV charging equipment, and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and codes.
Must Haves for Commercial EV Charging Electrician
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial EV Charging Electrician
- Licensed journeyman electrician with experience in commercial EVSE installs
- Ability to read blueprints and work with layout specifications
- Proficient in wiring systems and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with NEC, ADA guidelines, and municipal permitting procedures
Key Commercial EV Charging Electrician Duties
In this role, you will install EV charging stations in commercial and retail environments. You will interpret site plans and specifications, run conduit, set pedestals, and install panels. Regular interaction with utility providers and inspectors to ensure compliance is a key part of this role. You will also support maintenance and warranty calls, and manage installation materials and documentation.
