Completion of at least 1 year in an apprenticeship program within the construction industry; comprehensive understanding of commercial wiring systems; ability to accurately read and interpret simple one-line diagrams; OSHA 10-hour certification is highly preferred; strong attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions meticulously; excellent math and measuring skills.
Main Commercial Apprentice Duties
Assist in the execution of commercial-grade EV electrical installations in retail, hospitality, and industrial facilities; interpret basic blueprints and layout plans for construction projects; proficient in pulling wire through raceways; install low-voltage control wiring for advanced smart EV systems; support panel upgrades and load center installations; maintain accurate records of material use and time logs; learn and apply commercial code requirements.
