Must Haves for Residential Electrician

• 4-6 years experience as a Residential Electrician
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Solid knowledge of residential wiring systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas
• Experience with smart home electrical systems is a plus
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with homeowners
• Must have personal hand tools and reliable transportation

Key Residential Electrician Duties

As a Residential Electrician, your primary duties will include:

• Installing electrical wiring and devices in single-family and multi-family homes
• Troubleshooting residential circuits
• Replacing and upgrading electrical panels
• Installing lighting fixtures and ceiling fans
• Ensuring installations meet Texas state code
• Coordinating with general contractors
• Maintaining a clean and organized work site
• Responding to residential service calls in a timely manner
• Educating homeowners on safe electrical usage
