Core Electrician Skills

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant electrical certification or licensure, a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with power tools and diagnostic equipment, solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, knowledge of safety protocols and building codes, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills are a must, and the candidate should be physically capable of handling electrical tools and equipment.

Main Electrician Duties

Our Electricians are responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial buildings. They troubleshoot and repair power distribution systems, ensure compliance with safety codes, implement lighting control systems, plan and execute electrical upgrades, manage materials and tools for projects, and coordinate with other construction teams. Additional responsibilities include inspecting and testing installations for quality assurance, documenting work progress and maintenance records, mentoring apprentices and junior electricians, providing on-site technical expertise, supporting emergency power system installations, and integrating energy-efficient solutions into designs.
