Core Service Electrician Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyman license or equivalent field experience, excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and strong communication abilities. They should be knowledgeable about NEC and local codes, able to work independently, and have a clean driving record. Experience with residential and commercial service work is essential.
Main Service Electrician Duties
The Service Electrician will respond to electrical service calls at residential or commercial sites, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, install outlets, breakers, and lighting fixtures, and upgrade panels and systems. They will interact with clients, explain issues clearly, ensure job site cleanliness and professionalism, follow all safety and code regulations, complete service documentation, and manage tools and service vehicle inventory.
