The Service Electrician Position
As a Service Electrician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, responding to service calls in various environments, from family homes to bustling commercial properties. You’ll work under the supervision of experienced team leaders but will have the independence to manage your own tasks. Core Service Electrician Responsibilities
Our Service Electricians troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, install outlets, breakers, and lighting fixtures, and upgrade panels and systems. You’ll interact with clients, explaining issues and solutions in a clear, professional manner. Other responsibilities include ensuring job site cleanliness, following safety and code regulations, and completing service documentation. You’ll also manage your tools and service vehicle inventory. Advanced technical duties include servicing or replacing power distribution panels, installing EV charging points, and coordinating with utility companies for power shutdowns. You’ll also need to stay updated on regional project specifics and adhering to safety protocols.
Required Experience & Skills
We require a Journeyman license or equivalent field experience. Essential skills include excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, strong communication, and customer service skills. You should have a thorough knowledge of NEC and local codes, the ability to work independently, a clean driving record, and experience with both residential and commercial service work. A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Service Electrician is required. Essential certifications include an Electrical Contractor’s License and a valid driver’s license.
Tools & Equipment
Our Service Electricians use a variety of tools daily, including voltage testers, wire strippers, and circuit finders. You’ll be expected to have your own basic hand tools, while we provide larger, specialized equipment such as power drills, saws, and multimeters. Our company also provides a well-maintained service vehicle.
Physical Requirements
Service Electricians must be able to lift 50 lbs and be comfortable working in a variety of conditions, from hot attics to damp basements. Safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves are required.

Compensation Package
Our Service Electricians earn a competitive salary, between $30.63-$35.55 per hour depending on experience. We provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and holidays.
