We have a variety of ongoing projects in the area, requiring skilled electricians who are ready to tackle the daily challenges of working in a manufacturing environment.

Your Daily Tasks as an Industrial Electrician

Your everyday tasks will involve the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in various industrial settings. You’ll be servicing motors, conveyors, control panels, and high-voltage equipment on a regular basis. When electrical malfunctions occur in machinery, you’ll be the one to troubleshoot and rectify the issues.

You’ll also be expected to follow lockout/tagout procedures and perform preventative maintenance, interpreting technical diagrams and schematics as required. Ensuring safety compliance is a critical part of this role, alongside documenting repairs and updates.

Collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams will be a significant part of your day-to-day work, as you work together to keep our projects running smoothly.

What You Need to Be an Industrial Electrician

To excel in this role, you’ll need an electrical journeyman license or equivalent, as well as substantial experience with industrial machinery and systems. A strong understanding of motor controls, PLCs, and 3-phase power is crucial, as is proficiency in diagnostics and repair.

You’ll need to be able to read schematics and wiring diagrams, and have a solid knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. We’re looking for team players who can communicate effectively with their colleagues. Ideally, you’ll have spent 4-6 years in the field as an Industrial Electrician and have a track record of hands-on experience.
