Industrial Electrician Position Overview
EV Careers urgently needs an experienced Industrial Electrician in Franklin, TN. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our manufacturing environments. You will troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and ensure safety compliance, while working closely with our maintenance and engineering teams.
Must Haves for Industrial Electrician
- 4-6 years experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Electrical journeyman license or equivalent
- Experience with industrial machinery and systems
- Strong understanding of motor controls, PLCs, and 3-phase power
- Proficiency in diagnostics and repair
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- OSHA safety knowledge
- Team-oriented attitude and communication skills
Key Industrial Electrician Duties
As an Industrial Electrician at EV Careers, your main duties will include:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Servicing motors, conveyors, control panels, and high-voltage equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions in machinery
- Following lockout/tagout procedures
- Performing preventative maintenance
