The EVSE High Voltage Electrician Position

As an EVSE High Voltage Electrician on our team, you will be immersed in a challenging yet rewarding work environment. Core EVSE High Voltage Electrician Responsibilities

Our electricians are responsible for installing and commissioning high-voltage EVSE systems at commercial and fleet facilities, performing load calculations, running conduit and wiring for 480V+ systems, calibrating chargers, completing testing procedures, and coordinating with network providers and utility reps. You will also maintain accurate install documentation and as-builts. Other key responsibilities include analyzing system faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.

Required Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate is a licensed electrician with EVSE installation experience and high-voltage experience (480V+). A deep understanding of OCPP standards, load balancing, and utility interconnection is essential, along with strong diagnostic and field commissioning skills. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an EVSE High Voltage Electrician is required, along with essential certifications such as the Journeyman Electrician license and the EVSE Installation Certification.

Tools & Equipment

Our EVSE High Voltage Electricians frequently use a variety of tools, including multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and conduit benders. While some personal tools may be required, the company provides most of the heavy-duty equipment needed for high-voltage installations.

Physical Requirements

The job includes regular heavy lifting, with some equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Our electricians often work in varied conditions, both indoors and outdoors, and must be prepared to wear safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
