Must Haves for EV Power Systems Electrician

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an EV Power Systems Electrician
• Licensed journeyman electrician
• Profound knowledge of EVSE infrastructure and grid interconnection
• Experience with transformers and switchgear
• Robust wiring and installation skills
• The ability to read one-line diagrams and permits
• OSHA safety training certification

Key EV Power Systems Electrician Duties

The EV Power Systems Electrician will primarily install and configure power distribution systems for EV charging stations. Key responsibilities also include running conduit and wire to support load balancing and grid tie-ins, monitoring electrical loads to ensure code compliance, and installing switchgear, transformers, and meters. The role also involves coordinating with utility providers and supporting remote diagnostics and system upgrades.
