About Our EV Power Systems Electrician Team
At our Gallatin base, our EV Power Systems Electricians work tirelessly to support the transition to a cleaner, electrified transportation future. As a member of our team, you will be joining a respected organization that has a strong foothold in the Gallatin region, along with surrounding areas such as Hendersonville, Lebanon, and Murfreesboro. Our electricians handle a broad range of projects, everything from installing and maintaining EV charging stations to configuring power distribution systems.
The EV Power Systems Electrician Position
As an EV Power Systems Electrician, you can expect to have a hands-on role in shaping our cities’ energy infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include installing and configuring power distribution systems for EV charging stations, running conduit, and wiring for load balancing and grid tie-ins. You will primarily be working in outdoor environments to install and maintain EV charging stations. This position will fall under the supervision of our Senior Electrician, offering a structured team environment with clear lines of accountability. There is ample room for growth within our company, with opportunities to advance to more senior roles or specialize in particular areas of EV infrastructure.
Core EV Power Systems Electrician Responsibilities
In addition to the duties listed above, you will be expected to monitor electrical loads and ensure that all work is in compliance with electrical codes. You will also install switchgear, transformers, and meters, and coordinate with utility providers as necessary. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting remote diagnostics and system upgrades. Advanced technical duties include interpreting electrical system data, performing load calculations, and troubleshooting complex electrical equipment. Our electricians often work on regional projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new construction projects. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including but not limited to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following lockout/tagout procedures.
Required Experience & Skills
We require our electricians to be licensed journeymen with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in power systems or a related field. Essential certifications include an electrician’s license and OSHA safety training. A thorough understanding of EVSE infrastructure, grid interconnection, transformers, and switchgear is also required. Additionally, you should be competent in wiring and installation and able to read one-line diagrams and permits.
Tools & Equipment
Our electricians use a variety of tools daily, including multimeters, wire strippers, conduit benders, and power drills. You will need to provide your own basic hand tools, but all specialized equipment will be provided by the company.
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent heavy lifting, with many components weighing 50 pounds or more. You will be working primarily outdoors, often in inclement weather conditions. Safety gear, including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves, is required at all times.

Compensation Package
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32.35-$36.94, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and paid holidays.
