Electrician Apprentice Position Overview

EV Careers is urgently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Electrician Apprentice for our Dalton, GA location. As an Electrician Apprentice, your primary role will be to assist our experienced electricians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in our electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical work while adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Must Haves for Electrician Apprentice

• Minimum of 2-5 years experience as an Electrician Apprentice
• Current registration with a state-recognized apprenticeship program
• Experience working on construction or EV job sites
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power drills
• Eagerness to learn high-voltage applications
• CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred)
• A positive attitude and coachable mindset

Key Electrician Apprentice Duties

• Participate in the full cycle of EV infrastructure installations
• Assemble and disassemble EV panels and disconnects under supervision
• Install wire trays and mounting systems
• Measure and cut conduit accurately
• Track inventory and log hours
• Complete safety checklists and hazard assessments before each shift
• Study and apply national and local electrical codes daily
