EV Careers urgently seeks an Electric Vehicle Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Boulder, CO. As an Electric Vehicle Apprentice, you will work closely with our licensed electricians, learning safe installation practices and assisting with residential installs to ensure our customers get the best service possible.

Must Haves for Electric Vehicle Apprentice

Minimum 2-5 years experience as an Electric Vehicle Apprentice
A strong interest in EV technology and sustainability
Basic knowledge of electrical theory
Actively working toward obtaining your journeyman licensure
Strong note-taking and organizational habits
Proficiency in using tablets and software tools on-site
Exceptional customer service skills
Top 3 requirements: electrical theory knowledge, customer service skills, and organizational habits

Key Electric Vehicle Apprentice Duties

As an Electric Vehicle Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of licensed EV electricians to learn and apply safe installation practices for Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations. Your duties will include assisting with trenching and conduit placement, calibrating meters and sensors, testing charging station output using diagnostic tools, monitoring energy usage data, documenting abnormalities and preparing permit packets and inspection forms.
