Apprentice Electrician Position Overview

Must Haves for Apprentice Electrician

• 2-5 years experience as an Apprentice Electrician
• Enrollment in a certified electrician apprenticeship program
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety
• Willingness to work in outdoor and industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Key Apprentice Electrician Duties

Your main tasks will include assisting in the installation and testing of EV charging stations, pulling wire and bending conduit, maintaining tools, and ensuring worksite cleanliness. You will also be required to learn to read blueprints and circuit diagrams, follow NEC guidelines for low-voltage and 240V installations, attend weekly safety meetings, and receive hands-on training. You will also have the opportunity to shadow journeyman electricians during EVSE installations and repairs.
